The Locale was

my Mom's and Dad's Home.

 Susan Bailey made these darling cookies for

the favors.

SUCH A FUN SHOWER !

SHE IS...ONE SMART COOKIE

 GRADUATION DAY! YIPPEE!

And then Lauren and I threw her

a graduation bash. The theme I chose....

ONE SMART COOKIE
(Lauren = perfect party partner)

Dessert was "make your own ice cream sandwiches"

All kinds of cookies. And one especially smart cookie..!

The idea was to roll them in goodies as well. So fun.

I was SOOO Happy to see Vic. Salt Lake Vickie and Cali Vicki

reunited again.

I made her leave on her robe. I told her
I wanted our money's worth. ha.
I won't even brag or go into how much I love
this girl. You all know all toooooo well.
She is a star. She is true joy.

This is how we left our Smart Cookie on Sunday

Afternoon.

"WE CAN BE PREPARED"

MEET THE CAN FAMILY.

First HE and SHE CAN..

(note--jointed legs, her purse, his tie and tie tack, fashionable hats. Do 

you like her Princess Leia hairdo?)

WEE CAN

(bolt and nut pacifier)

Next, their

FLEA CANS

(These are my faves.)

I made these a few years ago for a preparedness fair I did.

And finally got to use them again.

(I won't even mention how long they took me to make

or collect the right size cans....ha)

I had fake cans everywhere.

But we had REAL food that was 

to die for! 

(all made from food storage.)

THE HUNT !

ALL THE STARS ARE IN ALIGNMENT.

For Spring break Lauren brought the kids to

the sunshine and warm weather.

We decided to have an Easter Egg Hunt 

with some of their little friends.

Such a great afternoon!

SMALL FATHERLY AFFAIR

I did my table with Ed's shirt as my table runner

and used his ties on my centerpieces.

I got a few chuckles.

The centerpieces: Golf...Tools...Manly stuff.

Napkin rings: supposed to look like shirt cuffs.

 Treats sitting on my fave fathers' chairs. 

 (Do I have an unhealthy relationship with candy?)

Placecards.

(cuz you really need seat assignments with 7 people. ha....Just an excuse to

use these yummy chocolate candies...dang I wish Lauren

was here to appreciate this.)

The food...A chicken dish, a salmon dish, Broccoli, Quinoa, and the salad. 

(I think it was the favorite dish.) 

I had a few diets I was working around! 

(yes those are strawberries, almonds, and kiwi with cheese.)
